Yes. Despite its name, you can remove permanent jewelry by cutting the chain at the jump ring (the welded spot) with a pair of scissors or nail clippers.

* Can my permanent jewelry be re-welded?

In most cases, yes, provided you save the chain and cut it at the proper spot. We offer re-welding services at a cost of $15.

*How do I care for my permanent jewelry?

Permanent jewelry requires minimal maintenance, but you can clean it with warm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth or toothbrush to maintain its shine. Avoid prolonged exposure to harsh chemicals like chlorine, which can weaken the metal over time.

* What if my permanent jewelry breaks?

If your piece breaks, save the chain and contact us. We offer free re-welds within 30 days if the break is at the weld point; otherwise, a repair fee may apply.

Health & Travel

* Can I go through airport security? Yes, fine jewelry typically does not need to be removed for TSA screening and usually won't set off metal detectors.

* What about MRIs or X-rays?

You may be asked by your doctor to remove your permanent jewelry for an MRI or certain X-rays. It's recommended to consult your doctor beforehand. If necessary, you can cut it off and have it re-welded by us later.

* Who should avoid permanent jewelry?

Those with pacemakers should not undergo the welding process.
